Now that we’ve seen Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and The Avengers, what next you ask… well Marvel have the answer. In order to help you figure out what happened in each movie in relation to the others, the official Marvel Cinematic Universe Timeline has been unveiled, which shows all that happened leading up to the Avengers, including which scenes from each of the solo movies actually happened at the same time. Hope this helps you understand the logic behind the Avengers even more.  (more…)

For those of you who don’t follow Samuel L. Jackson – dude that played Nick Fury in Marvel’s The Avengers – then you probably didn’t see his tweet about the guy that really puts on the Iron Man suit. After watching either of the Iron Man movies or the Avengers, its easy to assume that Robert Downey Jr. is the one wearing the Iron Man suit in all its glory, but this isn’t so. (more…)

MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS

Who’s in it:

Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.

Who made it:

Josh Whedon  – Director

Kevin Feige – Producer

What’s it about:

Marvel Studios delivers the ultimate comic-book film, which ties together such characters as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) for a big-screen franchise team-up like no other. Taking center stage this time is Nick Fury (played once again by the note-perfect Samuel L. Jackson), leader of the peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Fury, along with former Russian spy Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), recruits a super team to combat Thor’s ever-deceptive brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) after he brainwashes ace archer Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) while stealing a cosmic cube from an underground base. Thus the heroes must learn to work together alongside outlaw scientist Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who can track down the artifact’s gamma signals when he’s not hulking out into a giant green monster.

9.5/10 – Action, Suspense, Comedy… Assemble!!!

The day has only just begun but we already have something from the Avengers. I have to admit, I’m getting tired of this relentless marketing, I mean enough should already be enough… How many posters do we really need? We already know who’s in it, what roles they’re playing and what they look like, what we don’t know, and what Marvel has confirmed we’ll have to see the movie to know, is what Loki’s army is exactly – are they aliens of some kind or demons from another dimension – so why do they feel the need to keep this up? Nonetheless, here are 10 new wallpapers for you if you’re starting a collection.  (more…)

Happy Easter,

Its sunday, Easter Sunday at that, and so there’s really not much going on, movie news wise, this is the first slow news day I’m experiencing and I’m not sure how to handle it. I have no idea what I’m going to talk about today, so I’m just going to ramble a bit. How about we go through all that has happened this past week and appreciate what April has brought? Cool? Cool, cool, cool! Ok then, let’s go through all the news items from April 1 till date and reminisce.  (more…)

Ok, this is getting ridiculous, the amount of trailers, TV spots and tie-in commercials for Marvel’s The Avengers has to have set a new record (I don’t know, I’m just guessing). Everyday there seems to be a new video for the movie or at the very least somehow related to it, I’m starting to feel like I should create a whole new category just for it. (more…)

Do you remember that guy, Victor Hugo? The one who made that awesome Iron Man image?  Sure you do! Well I was going through his blog and site this morning and look what I found, its Magneto as a cute little baby, already preparing for world domination :D
