Universal Moves Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted’ Up to June 29

It was recently announced that Paramount have taken the bold move to move G.I. Joe: Retaliation to March 2013, 5 weeks before its previously scheduled release date, and now, Universal have wasted no time in moving in to snap up G.I. Joe’s old release slot of June, 29, for the comedy, Ted.

Its sunday, Easter Sunday at that, and so there’s really not much going on, movie news wise, this is the first slow news day I’m experiencing and I’m not sure how to handle it. I have no idea what I’m going to talk about today, so I’m just going to ramble a bit. How about we go through all that has happened this past week and appreciate what April has brought? Cool? Cool, cool, cool! Ok then, let’s go through all the news items from April 1 till date and reminisce. 

New Green Band Trailer For Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Ted’

A little less vulgar than the red band trailer released a few days ago, and also a lot more detailed, this new green band trailer for Ted cuts back on the cursing and singing that made the first trailer so entertaining and instead focusing on trying to show what the movie is actually going to be about (a Teddy and his owner looking to path ways after they finally grow up).

Ted MacFarlane - the man behind Family Guy - is finally bringing his unique brand of F-word-i-ness and charm to the big screen with Ted. All we’ve known before now is that it stars Mark Wahlberg as a guy whose teddy bear comes to life as a result of a childhood wish, but instead of being fluffy and cute, he (it) turns out to be the most foul mouthed, disgusting little thing.
