A new trailer for The Amazing spider-Man debuted in Australia and shows all new and never seen before scenes. While all of the promotional material for The Amazing Spider-Man has been relatively successful, none is as exhilarating as this. Backed by a pounding tune and an exciting montage of plot points and thrilling action sequences, this is the best trailer, so far.  (more…)

With all the noise about how well The Avengers is doing in the box office and the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises, its easy to forget that another super hero flick will be swinging our way this Summer. Now that The Avengers is over, Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man is finally picking up speed on its marketing campaign. First we had a super four-minute preview, now we have 3 lovely character posters, featuring Emma Stone as Mary Jane, Andrew Garfield as Spidey himself and Rhys Ifans’ Dr. Curt Connors/Lizardman.  (more…)

Two new posters for Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man have arrived online. The posters continue to show off director Marc Webb’s darker and grittier spider-man. The movie stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field and opens July 3.  (more…)

With Marvel’s The Avengers receiving all the praise and attention, its easy to forget that there are a number of potential summer blockbusters involving other much loved heroes and hero team-ups, coming out at around the same time. Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man is being advertised as the untold story, spidey’s origin story is being rebooted and given a slightly darker tone, but director Marc Webb has revealed that the new origin story won’t be contained to one movie.

Happy Easter,

Its sunday, Easter Sunday at that, and so there’s really not much going on, movie news wise, this is the first slow news day I’m experiencing and I’m not sure how to handle it. I have no idea what I’m going to talk about today, so I’m just going to ramble a bit. How about we go through all that has happened this past week and appreciate what April has brought? Cool?
